Accuracy and timing
Menus, fees, card limits, promotions, and verification rules change. Every article carries a verification label. Before you rely on a number, open the live app and the provider’s official Help.
WeChat Pay international-card fees and limits on this site follow the visitor setup guide (WeChat Pay Help Center and the international-card rules): free at ¥200 or below, 3% of the full amount above that, and ¥6,500 / ¥50,000 / ¥65,000 caps. Promotions change, and some government pages print different figures. Confirm the live rule in Wallet → Help Center before you pay.
Alipay uses the same ¥200 / full-amount 3% fee. A passport-verified per-payment ceiling is about ¥35,000, and an unverified one about ¥5,000. Public pages also quote US$5,000 and ¥50,000. Promotions change. Confirm under Me → Bank Cards → Limits.
Payments and banks
Your card issuer may decline overseas or wallet authorizations. China Arrive cannot unblock a bank decline. Contact your issuer and the wallet’s support channels.
Connectivity
Our connectivity articles cover local SIM real-name basics and factual descriptions of foreign-carrier eSIM international roaming (home routing). Follow local laws. We do not publish VPN product recommendations.
Transport
DiDi, railway, and shared-bike rules (deposits, parking fences, dispatch fees) are set by operators. Ending a bike trip outside an allowed area can incur extra fees—check the map in the app you are using.
